JOE’S BLACK BOOK X CCAD SUBMISSION

Joe's Black book is a fashion design competition in which participants are required to design an original menswear or womenswear collection for Fall / Winter 2020 that best reflects their design aesthetic. 

My project focuses on the cultural and social aspects of Atomic warfare. I wanted to juxtaposition the effects of the nuclear bombing both during and after World War II.

Designs reflects my outlook on what became of the people of Japan and U.S soldiers during these events.

Project features elements such as deconstruction/reconstruction, draping, knitwear, fabric paneling,cording and webbing.
